UPCOMING EVENTS

First Friday fellowship
December 6th | Carpool - 5:30 PM

Join us for a fun evening at Tulsa’s First Friday Art Crawl! For those that need a ride, we will meet at the Wesley to carpool at 5:30 PM. The event itself is from 6-9 PM downtown with lots of Christmas vendors. Come hang!

WESLEY WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

  • When: Friday, March 7 - Saturday, March 8th

  • Where: The OSU Wesley in Stillwater, OK

  • Cost: $15/ person for the conference. This price includes: a Port & Company Conference t-shirt, dinner Friday night, Friday evening craft/fellowship activities/snacks, Saturday breakfast/snacks/lunch, one specialty drink from our coffee shop on Saturday, a swag bag, crafts from the interactive stations, and all of the conference workshops and events. This price does NOT include any lodging.

  • Theme: "Sweet to the Soul,” drawn from Proverbs 16:24 "gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones."

Puppies & Pizza
Date TBA (either Dec. 10th or 11th)

Finals are coming up and we are teaming up with Puppy Haven Rescue to bring you an afternoon of puppy cuddles! We will serve Papa John’s pizza and soda, and you can snuggle with puppies to help you destress from your upcoming finals. Stay tuned for the official date and time to be announced!


Study Space
December 16th-19th | 9-2PM

During finals, all the usual quiet study spaces are FULL. If you need a quiet place to study or unwind, the Wesley will be open to you December 16th-19th. We will have everything you need - quiet spaces to study, a lounge area to for relaxation and fellowship, comfy couches, free snacks and drinks, free wifi, board games… the works! All are welcome to use the space, and if you need to schedule the space for a group study session, let our Director know and we will make arrangement for you to use the building after hours (emily-robnett@wesleytu.org).

cocoa & cards service project
December 8th | 12:30 PM Lunch | 2:00 Pm Service

Join us for an afternoon service project! After worship at UUMC, we’ll head over to Mother Road Market to have lunch, and then we’ll gather back at UUMC to wrap gifts for our angel tree families and write Christmas cards for children hospitalized at St. Francis. We’ll serve cookies and cocoa as well, so join us for a great afternoon!

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

Discussion Forum: Hot button issues
Mondays | 4:00 PM

Join us on Mondays for our next discussion series: "Hot Button Issues"! Using the UMC Social Principles as our touchstone, we'll be discussing some of the most controversial topics in our society: human sexuality, reproductive health and abortion, the death penalty, and gender equality and diversity. Snacks provided!

Free LUNCH
Thursdays | 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Come and get it! This week (November 21st), we will be serving soup & salad! Our soup choices include: shrimp and corn chowder, chicken and dumplings, chicken pot pie, broccoli and cheddar, as well as a gluten free chicken and wild rice. There will also be bread, crackers, lots of fresh fruit, and sheet pan cake. St. Paul’s UMC is helping to serve our meal! Come hang out and eat!

Please note: We will not be serving a free lunch on November 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. See you in December!
